Review on CAMEL CROWN Hiking Shoes: Waterproof Leather Trekking Sneakers for Men - Low Top Trail Outdoor Walking Gear by Rusty Calcara

Hiking shoes only visually. Failed

At first I was very impressed. I wore these boots in Mexico City for a week. They were a bit big but they were thick socks. I bought them because they were "waterproof" but didn't get a chance to test them. I wore them in the rain last week. When walking on tall, wet grass, water could seep in through the fabric tongue under the laces. The leather on the boot stopped the water, but my feet got soaked from top to bottom. I wore them on a hike last weekend and the top lace loop broke. It was a very poor design with very little back to the river. It happened on the 15th. I returned home to the campsite on the 18th and found my return window closed on the 17th. These boots were great for light walking but once I started using them as boots they failed miserably.
