Review on 🚀 Optimize Performance with Edelbrock 1840 Thunder Series AVS Carburetor Calibration Kit by Travis Karren

Based on the Edelbrocks Jet reference chart, I wanted to replace the standard .068 x .047 leads with .065 x .042 leads. Since these kits should include these as well as others that may be needed to fine tune my carb, I ordered this kit. It was received with the NON RETURNABLE SEAL intact. I broke the seal and opened the container. According to the product description and product label inside the container, this kit should contain five pairs (10 total) dipsticks. 1 pair each of stick numbers (ID stamped on part) 6537, 6542, 6547, 7047 and 7052. There were actually only 8 dipsticks in the sealed case: 1, 6537, zero 6542 (this is the one I wanted to start with), 3, 6547; 1.7047 and 3 7052. I checked each of these numbers with 12x magnification to make sure the numbers on each rod are correct. close in size and i hope they fit me. I received all the springs and injectors listed. I have been ordering and using Edelbrock parts for decades and have been generally satisfied. This is probably not a common mistake, but I wanted to bring this to everyone's attention and hope it doesn't happen to anyone. UPDATE: 5-11-2017. The replacement kit that was sent to me free of charge arrived today. Let's say again you have 5 pairs of dipsticks and only received 4 pairs. The video was shot with a set with the seal intact. This set is made out of clear plastic so it was easy to check before opening the seal and making sure there were only 8 dipsticks in the set. t, I found I was only missing a pair of .065 X .042 this time, the ID number is stamped on part 6542. Unfortunately, #6542 is missing from the first set, is missing from this set and is the first choice. after link choice. I think if I want these rods I will order them separately. NOT HAPPY.
