Review on MERKUR Slant MK 37C Double Safety by Heather Hernandez

Well, this is my new journey. I've also used an open comb and it's a good razor, but the angled rod cuts through my whiskers like warm oil. I still use a variety of blades, but the angle the razor offers is perfect. Once I find the perfect blade, I'll be in shaving heaven. My favorite shaving soap is Taylor of Bond Street Sandalwood. I still use a variety of shaving products (Jack Black, Cremo, Poraso, American Crew) and will post an additional update as soon as I do. The same with lotions/balms after shaving (still experimenting). But this is my favorite razor. I have a couple of butterfly razors that are fine but the tilt will be my usual. I only use two coats and at the end of the day my face is still soft and smooth. Easy. In fact, the only downside is that sometimes I cut myself and I don't even feel it. On the positive side, I didn't cut myself with it very often. Now I like to shave. I'm 43 and have found that wet shaving is something I look forward to, not afraid of. I have very light and sensitive skin and the DE Safety razor has changed everything for me. Face burns from a multi-edged cheese grater are a thing of the past. I also noticed a dramatic reduction in the number of ingrown hairs in the cleavage area. I encourage anyone currently using disposables to try DE. In my opinion this is much better. That slanted streak kills too. Don't be afraid of it. Just shave gently like you would any other DE and you'll be fine. Cutbacks occur when you get cocky and stop paying attention. I focus well and get a killer shave with little to no issues.
