MERKUR Slant MK 37C Double Safety Review

I use my Merkur with Feather blades to shave my face and head and together they give me the smoothest shave I've ever had. I've used Mach 3 blades for decades and now they seem ridiculous by comparison. Based on everyone else's feedback I expect this razor to work very well. When comparing my Merkur HD 34C and 37C, however, the difference in quality becomes clear. There has been some negative feedback on the 37C for thread stripping and I can see why.
