Updated 5/5/20 - I got my money back and the bedding set was replaced. Lara Lin contacted me and offered to send me a new set of bedding. I don't normally do this but they seemed sincere and explained that they were already aware of the issues and could guarantee a new set of bedding. The color surprised me. I washed them right out of the box and found they already have a premium feel to them and I'm happy to say they don't tear or wear out. I got my bed dressed and after 3 weeks with 2 extra washes this is the real deal. I have to say I think the quality of the sheets is thicker so not exactly the same material or maybe the thread count but I don't mind. Besides, they just look better. The sheets have quality stitching, love how the pillowcases close around my pillow and I feel like they are now priced right for the quality. Only long term use will really show but I think it's the quality. I read all the good reviews and I may have had too high expectations for this purchase. The packaging is great, the sheets are packaged so nicely and they just feel great when they come out of the box. Colour? Ideal. Can you feel the stuff? So soft. But it went downhill from there. The sheets already had a few snags and the worst thing was that the pillows had small holes and were a bit faded. I have started the return process. At the same time I bought sheets of another brand for another bed and they don't have any of these problems even after washing.
