Review on StarTech Com 4 Port USB Hub USB by Nathan Jones

Got this hub for 2 reasons - 1 - it was 10 Gbps 2 - it had a longer connection cable than the others about 4" The only problem (and it's probably my lack of technical knowledge) is that it only works when plugged into a power source. Yes it's a self powered USB hub but I thought it was powered by a PC and when you plug in devices, who need more power plug it into a power source but it doesn't bother at all I love how compact it is and I use it for streaming and I have one of the cameras plugged in and a receiver for my mic which is great was to free up 2 ports on my PC Would recommend this protection.
