Good beard shampoo that thickens the hair while balancing the colour. PRO TIP: For best results, it's best to apply a coat of oil (baby oil, coconut oil, castor oil, or petroleum jelly in a pinch) to areas of my face and neck where I don't want to apply it. Apply shampoo. I also use a latex glove when I'm in the shower to shampoo my beard to keep my nails and fingers from getting dirty. I also wipe the shampoo off the areas of my skin where I applied the oil. Finally, because water sheds color, after 5 minutes I use a fine mist setting in the shower to gently rinse the shampoo out of my beard with a wide-toothed comb. This way my skin and fingers don't get dirty.
