Review on 🎧 Jabra Evolve 65t: True Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds with Superior Call Quality and 15-hour Battery life by Peter Cruz

I first bought a Jabra Elite 75t to replace my Plantronics Voyager Edge. My Voyager Edge works great but it's a BT mono headset and I was looking for a stereo headset to use for all my activities. Microsoft Teams, Skype, Zoom, cell phone calls and listening to music. This requires seamless Bluetooth multipoint that has two or more active audio connections (not just pairing). The Jabra Elite 75t says it has multipoint, but it comes with a huge rear sprocket. There can only be one active audio stream, and switching between audio streams is next to impossible. My old Plantronics Voyager Edge did this perfectly, like there's an invisible "Y" between the two devices leading to the headset. It's a shame the 75t are so limited as they fit perfectly in my ears, charge via USB-C and sound great. Further research led me to the Jabra EVOLVE 65t. The Evolve series is designed for true multipoint communication. This series is therefore aimed at business users, for whom most headsets are bulky, over the ear with an enormous microphone protrusion. I've read that the 65t has micro USB charging, but I was willing to ignore that flaw if they worked for my purpose. Pairing with my phone and laptop went smoothly. Unlike the Elite 75t, the Evolve 65t stayed connected to the laptop without disconnecting. My joy ended quickly. The Evolve 65t is much bulkier than the Elite 75t. 75t stuck in my ear with a quarter turn. The 65ts felt like putting a square pin in a round hole. The problem isn't with the size of the tips, it's with the headphone body. It's quite big and doesn't want to fit in my ear. No amount of convincing will ensure that the right earphone fits and stays. The left side was painful to wear but I was able to fit it in my ear. The fit is a deal breaker, but my decision to go back is the ridiculous placement of the microUSB charging port on the bottom of the case, not the side. Jabra, please make an EVOLVE 75t!
