My husband gave me bistro tableware for my birthday and I think it's wonderful. I lived in Italy many years ago and bought the same set on the open market near my home but now it was broken and needed replacing. Pattern aside, this set is very similar to the Made in Italy set that I've used countless times over the years. They are the same thickness and weight, and are thicker and slightly heavier than standard US cookware. These bowls are the perfect size for salads (especially for dinner), pasta, desserts. I love the colors and the fun, slightly quirky design. Two have a red bottom and two have a yellow gold bottom.
