I use these bowls not only for pasta, but also for microwavable food in plastic containers. I don't like reheating food in plastic, so I pour the food's contents into pasta bowls without fear of toxins. The curved edges of the bowls make them much easier to work with than a plate. They have been washed in the dishwasher many times and are still like new. I've had them for about 5 months and they've been used a lot. I will buy more. Highly recommended.

My husband gave me bistro tableware for my birthday and I think it's wonderful. I lived in Italy many years ago and bought the same set on the open market near my home but now it was broken and needed replacing. I can't rate them higher than 3 because I'm disappointed that they have two completely different colors on the outside. We can see they have 4 different designs. it looks great on them and we see 2 thin ones with more red and 2 with more yellow decor, that's good too. But I didn't expect to find the base color when flipping, I have 2 reds and 2 bright ugly yellows on the back. Because of that bottom color, it doesn't even look like a matching set.
