Review on πŸ“· Optimized for SEO: Ape Case Pro Medium Camera Bag for Digital SLR and Video Cameras (ACPRO1200) by Lisa Weigel

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I wish the top handles were detachable and the right pocket was big enough to be useful

I've been a photographer for a long time and nothing is more important than a bag. Expensive equipment can only be used if it can be safely transported and quickly found among other equipment. This case assumes that a person always has a computer. I'm not, although I've been in the digital world since 2001, which is the beginning of digital! This slot would be much more useful if it was 3/4" wider. It was possible to fit flashes and batteries in it without bulging the case. ALSO the right hand pocket, if not identical to the outside left hand pocket, which is for a water bottle offered was slightly wider, which could also be useful to hold an extra camera body, flash and lens. Or even a sandwich. Anyway, a sandwich that is NOT overstuffed needs to be partially eaten to fill it. And finally carrying handles. They are not removable, there is no way to hide them. And I do not understand why they are needed, because the pros will use the shoulder strap. IF I leave this case, I will probably use a sharp razor blade and them just cut them off but that will affect my ability to sell them return them and they will look cut what is the purpose of these pins i think designers should decide why and when. and under what conditions handles are needed. In extreme cases, you can simply pinch the bag somewhere and lift it up. But you can't carry it by the handles when taking pictures or working, so the photographer uses a shoulder strap, so why not take it easy? The handles, as is, block quick access when connected and only flap in the wind when loose. Not necessary. Big negative. need to think more.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • long wait
