Be careful, check every DVD you put in: some rental shops put labels on their discs and if the label comes off it can too traffic jams coming . I lost 2 SD-3109 (predecessors of 2200). The video and sound quality is really excellent. The MPEG decoder leaves nothing to be desired. The built-in Dolby Digital decoder is a nice touch that most models in this price range don't have. Definitely better than anything else in this price range. I would have preferred not to have the dual drive system, but I had no problems with the newer model. WRT, some reviews speak of a lack of support for CDR: That's not entirely true. It doesn't play music CDRs, but I've played CDR VCDs (Nero is good for creating them).
