This fabric is really nice and smooth. The shirt fits well and the thumb holes are a plus. The shirt is tight-fitting, but still very comfortable. The fabric is what I would call medium thickness for this type of UPF shirt. It's not thin enough to show through, but not too thick either. This is a pretty good thickness for a slightly warm day.
