Beautiful mugs for hot or cold drinks

. I've had these mugs for about a week now and use one daily. Pros - They are basically as advertised. These are handcrafted double wall glass coffee mugs. No more and no less. The glass is very transparent, it's nice to see the color of lightly roasted coffee. They were packaged very securely and the manufacturer left a note to contact them for a replacement or refund should there be any issues during the shipping process. The English was questionable but the intention was appreciated. The cups have handles but as they are doubles this is not necessary. The mug can be held on the body, it hardly gets warm. They are pretty consistent, I don't notice much difference between the 4 cups. Cons - the glass is thin so they are delicate. They warn against rubbing the seal on the underside too hard. I would advise against using them for anything other than drinks - don't put anything in these cups that might stick or make cleaning difficult. I didn't see a specific warning, but I suspect they shouldn't be washed in the dishwasher on a regular basis. The capacity is small - they list 12 oz / 350 ml but it's too much. I think 10-11 oz is a more realistic capacity. All in all great mugs! This is now my favorite coffee mug at home. Do they improve the taste of coffee? No, it's just a cup. My guess is that they technically insulate better than a standard mug, but it's not the same as a closed-top takeaway mug. Basically it's an aesthetic thing. The mugs are comfortable to hold and look good with a good drink in them. They're a little fragile and I'm sure my clumsy butt will break at least one at some point. But right now I love her.

Pros
  • HANDBLOWN BOROSILICATE GLASS: Just because they're pretty doesn't mean they're fragile. Although lighter and thinner than other mugs, they are made from hand-blown borosilicate glass, so the glass is stronger and has far fewer imperfections.
Cons
  • It was possible to choose a newer model
