I like that this stand does not require I take the case off the ipad. It was smaller than I expected but it works just fine. I like keeping the iPad off the kitchen counter in case of spills. Surprisingly with a 9.75” ipad it does not easily tip over. It also holds a cell phone even with a thick case and pop socket. The metal is very light weight (maybe even "cheap”) so I’m not sure about longevity. The devices do not clip in which means less stability but as I said, the advantage is that you don’t need to remove any protective cases. I’m happy with it but I only paid $14? Because it was used. If I bought another I might try a different one for comparison.
