Review on Fiskars 164100-1001: Top-Rated Heavy-Duty Number 2 Blades, 5 Pack by Kristen Reid

I often use a Fiskars cutting plotter for various materials such as styrofoam, photo paper, card stock etc. I love how sharp and easy to use these blades are but the tips seem to break very easily. I guess I use a heavier hand than I should be for cutting, but it looks like they just have brittle tips. I'm cutting right over a piece of cardboard that's laying on a self-healing cutting mat, and when the blade goes through the end and pops out of the last piece of cardboard, it usually snaps or breaks off when the tip touches the mat first. in mat. I have yet to try other types of blades to see if this is the case for all of them. They also don't stay sharp as long as I'd like when cutting/cutting the EVA foam. Although they are quite good for the price.
