My three year old niece absolutely loves it. She has stuffed animals and her "treasures" - necklaces, jewelry, jars with faux gems, etc. Portholes are the BEST feature. She likes to look outside and is well ventilated. The walls let in light. It's shaded but light enough to be readable. It's probably too small for the average (US) adult to get in, but shallow enough if you need to reach out and pull out a sleeping baby to put them down. you can go to bed etc. without any problems.
