Need HDMI and VGA extended over Ethernet? It's YOUR MAN!

I have 2 LifeSize systems (Logitech teleconferencing and video conferencing systems) in my office and the people who installed the cables in the rooms did not use HDMI. I need 1080P HDMI for a presentation, so I've used HDMI over Ethernet adapters so far. They worked until the Lifesize blocks were updated to the latest versions. With this version, my old HDMI over Ethernet adapters just stopped working! I've tried 3 or 4 other HDMI over Ethernet adapters (under $100) and they all had problems. Basically they "kept sending" the signal even after I disabled HDMI. This is a problem as the life size device gets confused as to whether there is a signal or not and ends up completely freezing and unable to display anything! The adapters worked for about 20 minutes, after which they hung after multiple disconnects and reconnects, requiring a reboot of the LS units. In order not to have to pay for an HDMI connection, last time I decided to buy a $200+ adapter and stumbled upon this one. Firstly it's an EXTRA bonus that includes both VGA and HDMI and although I don't use 4k it is supported. Not all clients have VGA and/or your HDMI port may not work, so having both options would be great. Secondly, this device cuts off the signal after disconnecting HDMI! Needless to say, this device (still) works great with VGA and HDMI, with no signal spikes or confusion with a LifeSize device. My company is in the UK so we use LifeSize (it's popular there), but someone else's department may be having similar issues. the station too - I haven't tried it that way) which is an added bonus! Basically, I just plug the transmitter into a power source and the receiver is powered through the ethernet cable. I don't know if this is "real POE" but that's how it works. Hope this helps someone! Much luck!
