Wearing this with my Oculus Quest 1 covers my ears. I use headphones and the headphones don't fit over my ears when I wear the strap. I have to wear the bottom part of the strap on top of my head to wear the headphones. The strap hurts a little too, but it's bearable. Although the tape is very durable. I'm also only 13, so maybe my head is smaller than recommended. The band only covers half of my ears so it hurts more than I expected but like I said it's manageable.
