Worked great for 4 workouts. then slowly stopped sending

I have used many heart rate monitors. it all worked fine. It's a waste of $. The first training sessions were great, there were no problems and the perceived accuracy was good. But little by little it started to wobble and I spent a lot of time troubleshooting to conclude that it's junk and won't stand up to heavy use. . In the photos I've attached you can see him slowly dying. The first looks normal, but you can see several periods of heart rate leveling off for no reason (meaning the device is not transmitting data and the last known heart rate is being recorded on the graph). The second phase of failure shows long dips - this happened regularly and always in the middle of training. Both the beginning and the end were usually recorded normally. Thinking the battery was dead, I replaced it with a new Energizer Lithium brand battery. Same problem, so I swapped it again. same problem. I've tested both new batteries in other devices and they worked great, so it's not a battery issue. I then verified that it was an ANT+ transmission (that's how I usually get HRM data) by having my phone log data using Bluetooth. Channel. The same dropouts. Many different positions were tested, e.g. B. Holding the handset as close as possible (on the inside of the arm). The same dropouts. So it doesn't matter what transmitter you use or how far away the receiver is. And the last workout before throwing it in the trash was the third photo. Anyway, it started well. never to be heard from again.
