I have tried many towels (Various restoration hardware, Coyuchi, several Turkish towels, Macy's hotel line, Matouk) and I love these towels. I actually returned the towels for coyuchi towels (coyuchi towels are insanely long) but I went back and bought Gilden Tree bath towels and washcloths for myself and plan on buying more. I love how lightweight, absorbent, soft and FAST drying these towels are. I loved them so much I also bought a TON of washcloths (and 2 large waffle blankets) for our Caribbean rental cabins. This material is perfect for island living - it air dries so quickly and is very durable, washes well (no creases) and I expect it to last (and we wash A LOT). The size of the washcloth is good too - larger than other wipes I've tried. I would like to replace all the towels in our island cottage in Gilden Tree, but the bath towels were too expensive for turnover/stains and damage. VRBO / Airbnb towel rental. (We ended up buying $15 Turkish towels for beach and bath towels, which I don't like as much as Gilden Tree, but changing them regularly is less excruciating.)
