Almost perfect mount

I bought this mount hoping I could easily move the projector between my basement and garage. When I received the product, some screws were missing to complete the installation. After the installation I contacted the manufacturer and bought an additional mounting plate. Conceptually, moving between the mounts is easy, but I find it difficult to push the two side buttons and rotate the mount shaft to remove it from the platter. I'm sure it's a safety feature as most mounts aren't designed for…

Affordable and compact

I really liked this mount. Does the job and comes with enough adapters for any projector at any height. My only complaint is that it's not very tight in the direction of rotation. It uses a universal ball-like hinge that allows you to adjust any angle. If the bracket is adjusted tight enough to hold one of the pivot points, the rotation is not tight. If the twist is tight, the swivel is too tight. However, it is dense enough to hold the projector when not bumped. I also like that the side of…

Relatively easy install and great performance

As we live in an old industrial house with 7ft ceilings I needed a low profile projector mount. Installing this device only took about 20 minutes after I assembled the drill, drill bits, screwdriver and pliers. After having a rough idea of where to mount the projector, I adjusted the position slightly to find the nearest ceiling joists. A few minutes with a drill and some 3" bolts securely attached the mounting base to the ceiling. Another 10 minutes to attach the bracket to the projector and…

Almost perfect - except for a gap between 3 " and 9 "

This is a much better projector mount than my previous one from Vivo (VIVO Universal Adjustable White Ceiling Projector/Projection Mount Mounting))) for my basement with a false ceiling. The Vivo mount was very difficult to manage due to the limited clearance when mounted 2.5 inches above the false ceiling. The main advantage is that the projector can be easily attached or detached. The second advantage is an adjustable distance from 3 to 9 mm. 12 inches. Note that there is a gap between 3 and…

Easy assembly, but wobbles

I got this mount because the white matches the white ceiling and white projector. I liked the minimalist design/size. I wanted it to be as close to the ceiling as possible and it's about 3 inches, which is the shortest I could find. It also has a moderate price. It's really easy to assemble and hang up (took me less than 20 minutes total if you know exactly where the projector goes). It has some sort of ball bearing mechanism that allows small adjustments to be made after it's hung. You can…

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Many things

Installation is ok, the lack of ceiling screws was also unexpected (cost saving step?). But the block itself seems to work fine. With my Epson 2030 I couldn't place it well balanced in terms of center of gravity, so I have a slight (1*) tilt left to right on the screen, not noticeable on the projector itself. I can get it back on center, but after a in a day or two it has that tendency again. My reason for only 3 stars is that this serves its purpose but could use a better seat retention…

The projector side of this bracket is flexible and stable. The kit includes ten expandable metal extension brackets, of which you'll find four that fit the bottom screw holes of almost all modern projectors. Once all the screws are tightened, this bracket will sit flush and attach to the bottom of the projector. In the center is a rotating, tilting hanging stand that can be pulled up to manually adjust the projector's angle, or tightened firmly. So far, so good. The weak point of this mount is…

Disappointed with the quality at twice the price of other mounts

I needed a mount about 6-8 inches from the ceiling and this was the closest mount I could find. The bracket comes with a variety of mounting brackets and screws to simplify mounting the projector. The problems started when I started connecting everything to the ceiling mount. First, the adjustment holes on the extension tube weren't drilled or aligned properly, the large machine screw didn't want to go through both sides of the tube. Then there were set screws to get the tubes in so they…

However, very flexible bracket.

I found this projector ceiling mount to be pretty easy to install. The issues I had were related to trying to mount the legs on an Optoma UHD60 projector. They offer 2 medium (already mounted on the mount), 2 short and 2 long leg inserts, well 2 long ones are too long and 2 short ones are too short. I wish they had included another pair of center legs as that would make it easier to center the mount on the UHD60 projector. I had to try several combinations until one worked. Everything else went
