I got this mount because the white matches the white ceiling and white projector. I liked the minimalist design/size. I wanted it to be as close to the ceiling as possible and it's about 3 inches, which is the shortest I could find. It also has a moderate price. It's really easy to assemble and hang up (took me less than 20 minutes total if you know exactly where the projector goes). It has some sort of ball bearing mechanism that allows small adjustments to be made after it's hung. You can tighten this mechanism. It doesn't work to be honest. If it is too loose, it will be displaced by the weight of the projector. If yours is too tight, it will be difficult to make small adjustments. It also shakes slightly when you touch the projector. Apart from that I think everything will be fine after installation as long as nobody touches it.
