My 6.5 year old daughter chose this shirt and will wear it as long as we let her. Sometimes she steals it from the laundry basket to wear. We have washed the shirt several times with all her clothes and the color/shape has not changed. The material is light and airy. To be honest, this is my daughter's favorite t-shirt. We ordered a small one so it's a bit too big for her to wear for a couple of years.
