Review on LEVEN DDR3 4GB (2GB×2) 1333MHz PC3-10600 CL9 Unbuffered Non-ECC 1 by Cesar Rios

It's not mine.

I bought a pair of these poles for $24.99 each. Upon receipt of the DIMMs, an initial inspection of each stick showed that both were damaged. The panel on the side that says "LARES" isn't actually a heat spreader, it's just a piece of cardboard and it's been crumpled and apparently pushed around. It took some courage to load them onto my motherboard. The first start went fine, I went into windows but it crashed after about 2 minutes. After that it popped up and then missed, sometimes it didn't send (no video showed at all), sometimes it got into the BIOS, sometimes it got into Windows, but then it crashed after a few minutes. I tried swapping the DIMMs in different positions and configurations (and of course I tried a different pair of memory sticks to make sure other components weren't bad) and I was able to determine that one of the two sticks was defective. and was the cause of the crash. The other stick seemed to work fine and was recognized by the motherboard as advertised at 2666MHz, but after seeing that both were visibly damaged on arrival I decided to return them, spend a few bucks more and get the Patriot signature too receive. Instead of premium storage. What can I say? I took the risk of buying cheap RAM. Sometimes it pays off, sometimes it doesn't. I give 2 stars because at least one of them worked.
