I'm moving across the country soon so I bought this for my Maine Coon kitten. I opened it up and let it sit on the floor for about 2 minutes and when I turned around it was intimidating. It's sort of soft without a frame, so not strong, but pretty solid for this type of build. As for the litter box, I'm not sure, it's quite small and my friend is huge and not that smart, so I think it would be a catastrophe for the kitty. It's roomy enough for him to move around a bit, which I really wanted. I think we'll be taking potty breaks with an actual tray.
