At first glance, this product seems very easy to install. Just remove the two screws on your Mac and then replace them with the longer screws from the box and remove the tape covers, right?! NOT CORRECT! First, I had to pry off the adhesive backing with the screwdriver that came with it, which started tearing the adhesive. Second, the included screws weren't long enough to grab. it just kept spinning. As it spun, it grabbed some nearby glue and got stuck in the hole, turning a simple project into a nightmare as I tried to pry this thing off my MacBook while it was trying to get the underside of the lid of my Mac to bend. . I could not install the product and will return it. To clarify, if you decide to purchase, consider removing some of the adhesive near the holes on the item to prevent this, and make sure the screws are long enough to cut into before you remove the adhesive cover. (I installed it on a 2019 15" MacBook Pro)
