Security Bracket MacBook Retina Display Review

I love the locking and installation process (I've had over the past few years used some of these) but I just got a new 2019 15" model MacBookPro and the installed locking part sticks out too high causing it to rub or pinch the corner of the screen and not be able to open or close the screen. Check So see if they have made any updates in this regard.

The package that arrived today looked more industrial and less sophisticated but everything worked as advertised. It fits securely and works great with the Kensington cable lock I already have. It tilts my MacBook Pro nicely and doesn't interfere with the opening and closing of the screen in any way: the key is to align the right side bracket properly so it doesn't get in the way. The hardest part was getting the lid off the glue.

I have read reviews before read all the one star reviews and after getting my set of kgear locks i quickly realized these locks are real they fit great they were easy to install once you know how to make one If you've used a screwdriver and played with Lego before, then you're proficient It literally takes five minutes to install It's just plug and play It will NOT affect screen rotation for MacBook Pro 2018 Maximum tilt for reference when aligning the Parts of the lock before screwing. At first glance, this product seems very easy to install. Just remove the two screws on your Mac and then replace them with the longer screws from the box and remove the tape covers, right?! NOT CORRECT! First, I had to pry off the adhesive backing with the screwdriver that came with it, which started tearing the adhesive.
