It provides a good angle for my MacBook Pro
The package that arrived today looked more industrial and less sophisticated but everything worked as advertised. It fits securely and works great with the Kensington cable lock I already have. It tilts my MacBook Pro nicely and doesn't interfere with the opening and closing of the screen in any way: the key is to align the right side bracket properly so it doesn't get in the way. The hardest part was getting the lid off the glue.
