Worse than $8 S-Video cable
The resolution is just terrible. Look at the picture, the word Mario, Mario's mustache, or Yoshi's nose. I literally gasped when it worked for me (requires USB power) because I couldn't believe it would be any worse than an S-Video cable. It was a lot worse. Even if your TV doesn't support S-Video, getting an HDMI converter is cheaper and better than this unit. Priced exactly the same as this item, the N64 S-Video Plus S-Video to HDMI Converter offers the versatility to upgrade other legacy S-Video outputs.
