Review on πŸ› Skell Yellow BUG-A-SALT 2.0: Powerful Pest Eliminator for Effective Bug Removal by Kristi Crooks

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Safe for indoor use in most homes when using regular salt

Works! This Bug A Salt (Bug Assault, got it?) is a great way to turn your indoor flying bug fight into your personal shooting range. The main purpose I use this for is pesky food moths. Here are the criteria I rate it on: Efficiency: 4 out of 5. When properly cocked, the payload is enough to hit most flies once, if they are pea-sized or smaller. BUT, you have to bring it closer. Less than a foot away if you want to strike effectively. A little more and you'll likely need several subsequent shots. It's also better if you're using it on stationary targets, try to resist attempts to shoot a fly mid-flight unless you mind sprinkling enough salt all over the ground so you don't to miss. On a GOOD hit, the fly will drop dead, but on a bad hit, the fly will cripple and bat, and you'll have to crush it with a boot or regular fly swatter. But in most cases, the fly's wings will be crippled, and it will most likely crawl to its death in a dark corner behind the refrigerator. Range: 2 out of 5. As mentioned, this weapon doesn't have a very long range. They CAN land decent hits up to 2 or 3 feet away, but that pushes him into an effective fly-killing ability. The further away you are when you shoot a fly, the more likely you are to knock it back without dealing any effective damage. Treat this flying weapon like a shotgun/birdshotgun and use it accordingly. In my experience, a range of about 1 foot is usually sufficient. At close range, the fly will most likely turn into a slime stain. Utility: 4 out of 5 Even at a relatively short range, this fly cannon is incredibly handy. You can finally shoot those damn bugs from ceilings, high walls that are almost impossible to reach, and any weird place you can't reach with a fly swatter or rolled-up magazine. Even if you don't land an instant kill shot, the flies are often so crippled that they eventually die, or you can do the job yourself. Reliability: 3 out of 5. This part surprised me. The flying gun I had worked great sometimes when I pumped it, but sometimes lacked payload from cocking. It seems like you have to tilt the gun's barrel down a bit while pumping it up to get the right salt load. ammo tank. Also, I've found that the gun sometimes has issues with effective ammunition when aimed up at the target, especially if you aim straight up in the air then you're shooting almost nothing out of the end of the barrel. It's not that big of a deal though as you can just level it back up and work around those issues e.g. B. Repositioning yourself so you don't shoot straight at anything. Novelty and FUN: 5 out of 5! This is a GUN that you can use to shoot SAFELY in your house against winged pests like flies, moths, mosquitoes and other nasty flying insects. My experience on mirrors, glass, ceramics and other similar materials, although you have to take it with a grain of salt (get it?), Depending on what you load into it you can have more power in the shot, but more side effects. Damage to delicate and fragile materials such as paper or weak glass. In my experience, Morton's regular table salt is safe, but keep that vacuum handy to wipe it down when you're done. Happy hunting, go to hell!
