The headlights are very bright and the mounting holes match those of the Jeep TJ. Lanterns are supplied with three rivets installed. I sprayed them with a blaster (WD40) and tapped them. Now they can be mounted like factory Jeep taillights. I cut the connector off the stock TJ tail light wiring harness leaving about three inches of wire. Connect the yellow wire from the new tail light to the pink/black wire on the Jeep connector. Connect the black wire to the black/yellow wire and the red wire to the black/red wire. I solder all my connections and use heat shrink tubing. See attached picture. I pulled the white (ground) wire out of the wiring harness and back into the flashlight housing. That way I was able to ground the taillight to one of the taillight studs to the jeep. Hope that helps.
