Review on 💡 Upgraded Cutler Hammer CH250GFT Circuit Breaker for Enhanced Performance by Scott Ramu

Overall it has a good reputation but the unit I received was DEFECTIVE with a SHORT CIRCUIT in the switch itself so after turning on the main power as soon as the CH250GFT switch was turned on there was a HUGE FIREBALL burst out the back of the switch! After this happened I checked the switch with a multimeter and connected the wires to the meter, my meter only showed 110 ohms between the two HOT legs of the switch and only 115 ohms. Resistance from one of the hot legs and the GFCI "Neutral Load" wire! I contacted Eaton, the manufacturer of Cutler Hammer's circuit breakers, and they said that in the event of a fault, the circuit breaker cannot fail, which would result in a short circuit inside the circuit breaker, they went to the factory to see what could be changed to to ensure that no other circuit breakers fail, resulting in anything other than an incomplete circuit, and to ensure that no further circuit breakers can fail, resulting in a short circuit in the switch.
