If you're my height then this table is far from perfect. Even if you are small it is still quite crowded because there is not much space to lay out your books. I am a student and bought this desk to have space for my printer, laptop and textbooks. My printer is upstairs so there really isn't much room to work on my laptop and books at the same time. It has scratches all over it because I cleaned it with Clorox wipes in the beginning. The Pledge spray is way more perfect, I just wish I'd used it at all. When the table arrived I stuck the pieces into one of the panels before realizing it had a big crack. I tried smashing the board by smashing it with a hammer but it didn't do any harm. The wood is quite durable. The only negative is that the whole table shakes when typing. Although maybe it's my fault as I've never assembled furniture before.
