So I haven't used it yet to install the muffler because it was quite cold outside, but this clamp looks like a decent quality. It clamps down to about 2.876 inches. This should be ideal for any 3 inch OD pipe. Its length is also about 4.8 inches, which is enough to cover the gap when connecting two pipes of the same diameter. As can be seen in the accompanying drawings, the coupling has an inner and an outer bushing and then two collars. This should ensure there are virtually no leaks. Butt joint, specially lubricated with a little silencer paste on the inside. This is a very heavy link collar, the metal seems quite thick. The only questionable issue I have is that all of the metal parts are magnetic, indicating it's not necessarily stainless steel. My application will be in good weather on a vehicle that doesn't see much rain or road salt, so I'm sure it will be a while in that case. In terms of delivery time, it took me about three weeks to receive the clips. They were in good condition when I opened the package.
