Review on 🧩 ROKR Wooden Model Puzzle: Challenging Brain Teaser for Adults by Jesus Cordova

This was my first attempt at a ROKR puzzle. I can only say: WOW! I can definitely attest that this is a tough project but oh how nice it is when you complete it. The parts are laser cut and designed to perfect tolerances. Everything fits together perfectly...no screws, nails or glue. In addition, the partial leaves have additions to some of the more fragile parts. This saved me a lot of heartache after damaging 2 gears without properly following the assembly instructions. Speaking of instructions, this kit comes with a clear and well-illustrated booklet with step-by-step instructions. Based on some of the bad reviews on this product, I suspect some people didn't take the time to review the key instructions or create spreadsheets before starting the building process. The mechanics of the combination lock, lift mechanism and top membrane are amazing and also fully functional. Irises are especially beautiful when put together correctly. Pay close attention to all assembly instructions. If you skip any of the recommended sanding or waxing steps, you may find that some of the operations may not go as smoothly as possible. While I feel like it's good value for money, I only gave it 4 stars because it's definitely NOT for kids; It even says "Age 14+" on the box.
