Sometimes works alphabetically

Coupled with the fact that I live on the absolute edge of what is known as the 'temperate zone' and near the tropics, I have the world's most unruly, sensitive skin that periodically rebels against everything I put on it. I have to live by a dreaded "list" - whatever it sounds like, it's a list of products my dermatologist has approved for my skin. And first on my list was an antiperspirant/deodorant that actually worked without turning my skin fiery red or leaving behind huge black flakes/dead skin (if that sounds gross to you, imagine living with it). The Parade of antiperspirants and deodorants began about seven years ago, but even the use of medically approved products has not been successful. About two years ago I switched from other non-working commercial brands (Arm and Hammer, Dove, Secret and a few others etc.) to a natural deodorant (Lavanila) that worked for a while and then disappeared. I then switched to a holistic do-it-yourself deodorant made from coconut oil and essential oils, which dissolved upon application and left me smelling like an extremely sweaty essential oil factory. Guys, I live in Florida. You can't use pathetic, cowardly deodorant or antiperspirant here. Just walking across a supermarket parking lot is enough to make you sweat like a horse. And I love horses, but I'd rather they only smell them when I'm around them. Desperately, I went through my list again. I skipped Arrid for years, which was at the top of the alphabetical list because another strain made me erupt (even though it was on the "safe" list), but having tried pretty much everything else I went back to this one. I was afraid to look at it again for a while, but it's been more than half a year, and it's still working, it smells a little like soap, which doesn't excite me, but I'm not brick red and itchy, and I smell not horse-like - and it keeps me dry and comfortable for the rest of the day, as it should be. moral of the story? Sometimes works in alphabetical order. I wish I had done that from the start.
