I bought this item to use with an older PS2 gaming system. My son really wanted an old PS2 gaming system that he got for Christmas, but soon found that he couldn't connect the PS2 to his new TV because it didn't have AV connections, only HDMI. I searched the internet for a long time before buying this particular converter and I have to be honest, it wasn't the first one I bought. I originally bought another one (from a completely different seller) that was supposed to do exactly the same job, but when I arrived I found the wrong item had been sent to me. It was an HDMI to AV converter. The exact opposite of what I bought. Long story short, I got my money back and decided to buy this Easycel AV to HDMI Converter. As soon as we got it my son quickly hooked up the PS2 to the TV and has been in Tony Hawk's PS2 gaming paradise ever since! Right out of the box it worked exactly as intended and I can definitely see that this converter is of a much higher quality than the first one I bought elsewhere. It's easy to connect, affordable, and works like a charm! I am very satisfied and happy with this converter and would definitely buy it again if needed!
