I asked for this one in red for Christmas to take a break from my plain black ribbon and I love it. When I installed the strap I noticed that the small pins protruded further than the standard straps and I worried that it would be uncomfortable or somehow catch on something and come loose. Neither one nor the other is right. I don't feel the pins at all and it was perfectly safe. I accidentally put it on in the shower the first day. I dried it immediately and had no problems with damage or stains. It is even comfortable to sleep at night. I love the band and now I plan to get more colors
