Gasket orientation seems to be important, ensure new gaskets are installed in the same orientation as the gaskets removed. The new seals offer a very tight fit, but after one wash the fit was closer to the original. The original seals started to leak and didn't keep the coffee hot for the 6 hours I wanted. I put the lid (in the "open/pour" position) and the bowl in the dishwasher after each use with a normal load, which after more than 5 years probably contributed to the deterioration of the original seal.
