The light is perfect for our fan and would easily get 5 stars were it not for a few blemishes. First, the screws attached to the bracket were too short. The bracket is not embedded in the ceiling at all, but installed flush with the surface. After connecting the wires and trying to hang the light, the screws didn't go through the mounting holes as they were too short. Quick trip to the Home Depot to later get 2 M4-0.7x40mm machine screws, I have the new light and it's running. Another small issue is that the inner bracket is loose and spins freely. I tried tightening it before freezing but to no avail. This shouldn't be a big problem, but I wish it was more stable. Eventually, if you have large hands, you will need to hire someone with smaller hands to reach and tighten the mounting nuts and install the lamps.
