This anti-static mat, which can also be used as a soldering surface, has been carefully considered by the designers. The 12 x 16 dimensions are just the right size and fit on any countertop without taking up too much space. There are nine divided boxes of different sizes at the top, as well as 28 very small numbered boxes at the bottom, for organizing and storing the pieces you are working with and making sure they don't roll or get mixed up. The metric rulers are on the top and left. The mat comes with an anti-static wrist strap. I've had anti-static mats before, but this is by far the best I've used. Its eye-catching appearance adds class to any workspace! The item came in a protective sleeve and was well packaged.
