I dreamed of a 40-year-old faucet that dripped constantly. Did a little research and discovered it was a Moen 1200 cartridge and this 1225 was a replacement. A special tool was required to remove the old cartridge. Due to the age it was even more difficult. But once that new replacement cartridge was in place, installation was a breeze. Once everything was assembled and the water turned on, the faucet worked like new. The water came when it was supposed to and stayed when the tap was turned off. Not a drop, I'm glad.
