Review on 💡 Tripp Lite 12 Outlet Bench & Cabinet Power Strip - Compact 36" Length, 15ft Long Cord, 5-15P Plug, Black by Sam Thorpe

First I bought this for a garage project so I had specific requirements. I needed a long cord, plenty of spacing between plugs to allow for transformers, and a cord that came out at the end or the back of the extension cord. On reception the connectors are aligned with the extension and not parallel to it, meaning the third connector (ground) is far from the extension and not closer to either of the near edges. It still has enough room to plug in most transformers, but if you have a monster or two you might need some extra space. Another issue was the cord that went to the wall, it didn't come out at one end or the back, it came out the same side as the outlets. That makes it a bit more difficult if you're trying to hide the cable or run it close to the ground and don't want to trip over it. But I hardwired it to the kill button on my desktop, so I took it apart, drilled a hole in the back, and plugged the hole in the front. I can tell you when I take it apart that it's pretty well made. As for the cord, it's 14 gauge wire so it can handle just about anything a regular house can go through but if you're doing some serious construction work or something. I probably want to take something heavier. And overall I would say this is a good product for the price.
