Extremely soft handle with excellent ergonomics and weight to size ratio. He only feels the food in his hand. I have medium sized hands. I have to say that this knot is VERY soft and comfortable. However, even for a synthetic knot it has NO BASE making it difficult to maneuver the cream/mousse on the face when using pops of colour. I would recommend pushing the handle down to the base of the knot, which can get a little messy. Water absorption and retention are excellent. Overall a great brush if you know what you're getting into in terms of lather control. or you plan to soap the bowl.
