Review on Aquis - Original Lisse (Smooth Fabric) Body Towel, High Absorbency & Quick-Drying Microfiber Towel, Dark Grey (29 x 55 Inches) by Laura Russell

I bought a pair of these towels in 2008 just before starting a nomadic life and traveling continuously with my husband for two years. Almost 8 years later and although I no longer travel I literally only use these towels. Ordinary towels seem like a dirty joke in comparison. Functionally, they absorb a lot of water quickly, which is great as we both have very long hair that gets wet with regular towels. Especially useful for softening up my damp, frizz-free, curly hair. But most of all I love the texture! The tiny microfibers are so soft they won't snag or chip! The lack of fluff is a beautiful dream come true :) I'm having trouble with touch processing and the texture is huge for me. This towel really makes bath time more comfortable because it feels comfortable on my skin. I have found that these towels are best placed in the dryer immediately after use, otherwise they will get moldy and smelly. This is a MUST in humid climates! I found out the hard way, but was able to wash off the stench and continue using it for several years. I've just purchased another set from Aquis - this time the Adventure Towel - and it's just as great in function and texture. **heart eyes**
