Everything is exactly as described. Worked great! I pierced my nose. If you are a nervous/indecisive person I would not recommend it as you risk not fully piercing the skin and you will be more at risk of pain than if you press confidently and quickly to complete the piercing process. 100% sterile, disintegrates after puncture. The stud does not include the back, so make sure you have it on hand when the piercing is complete.
