This composite stick came without a tip, with two flat ends. Both ends were flat and appeared to have been used or damaged. piss off!

Arrived broken in 2 pieces but has not affected use. Works well with smaller diameter fittings, but does not work well with fittings larger than 3/4 inch.

The item I received was dry and hard. There was no lid and the product was unusable. Revain replaces the product. I hope the next one will be satisfactory.

This has a thin cardboard sleeve around the handle and is fragile - it arrived broken in the box. What little I could salvage was dry and brittle. This is in no way inferior to the usual old thread seal in the pipe.

I am a retired pipe fitter with 30 years experience and have never seen rods as large (about 1.25" diameter) as I have used in the past, about 0.75" diameter. . Actually a good thing. If it runs out, I will definitely buy more.

I have used this other brand before and found it really convenient and ten times easier to get a good seal than tape. Big stores don't have it, so I ordered it. I took the large size because it was more profitable. Well, it's a BIG crayon, but that's okay. The outer surface gets a little hard, so you have to do something good, but then everything works fine. Rub it over the male threads to fill them up. I like it!

I keep my wand in a ziplock bag in the fridge. If the teflon tape is too thin, the teflon grease is too thin and I need an INDESTRUCTO seal, this material can be used. I've used it on all types of tubing including plastic, pvc, teflon, aluminum, nylon, chp, copper, steel, iron and others. This usually happened after the recommended sealant failed. Tip: This doesn't take long, but be sure to apply it to both ends of the male and female threads.

I have been using this product since the late 1970's. It is a consistently reliable pipe additive for high pressure black natural gas pipe fittings. More recently I've found it to be equally effective on the brass fittings on my shallow well water pump. Since the sealant is packaged as a stick within the pouch, your hands stay clean during application. To apply, simply "rake" the paste evenly over the fibers of the pipe thread. The price is good too. I recommend this seal to everyone else.
