Consider the value - Excellent

This stuff works as advertised. Keep up the good work but remember this is designed to stick even at high temperatures. It installs quickly whether you are making gaskets or gluing. It is sticky and difficult to remove from skin or fabric. Know what you want to do before you open and apply. More quickly. Be careful. Depending on the job, if you use the tube more than once, you're in luck. I used it to bond the ceramic insulation and seal the vents while servicing the combustion fan assembly in…

Miracle Worker - Car Care

I needed this pipe for a project exhaust I made for an old ATV. I gave up on the project and left him alone. A few months later I was riding my ATV and had an exhaust leak in my manifold. Apply a little to the outlet head fitting and cap completely. A few months later, another problem surfaced. My friend's ATV was leaking oil on top. We applied a little more from the SAME tube and fixed that problem too. And yet ANOTHER man wanted to use it for his top on his dirt bike. I still don't understand

Good product when used correctly.

I had god to put this product where it fits. However, here are some tips on how to use it (or not). The product description states "Coated pre-cut pads for improved reliability" while some manufacturers of these pre-cut pads state that they do NOT use additional slime. Your call! Also, this gasket is quite difficult to completely remove once it has been placed on a dry, bare metal surface. So think twice before using them on a service item like an automatic water pump, as accessing the location

Old school but I prefer Toyota glue

2000 Toyota Tundra SR5 I used to have a couple of classic cars and this was the stuff I was supposed to be using. RTV Red. I used it to secure the water pump gasket to the water pump because it failed, when the thing on the gasket failed it just seeped through the steel gasket. So I secured the steel part of the gasket to prevent it from failing again. I have extra sanity and don't expect it to leak much more than an OEM gasket. Tip: a thin red layer or it will be squeezed out and enter the…

Get my hot tub up and running quickly

I have used many Permatex products to repair my car in the past and Permatex products have always been a huge hit. When I needed to fix a leaking heater in my hot tub, I called the manufacturer to purchase the parts I needed. After speaking to tech support about my requirements, he said he had fixed many of these leaks with red Permatex high temp silicone. a gasket manufacturer and he would like to sell me a gasket kit but I probably didn't need it. I bought the 81160 and to my surprise it…

Easy to use, has worked for my boiler at least so far.

So my boiler is about 30 years old. Standard boiler parts are available for this, but individual boiler parts, such as e.g. B. the seal for the hot water register are not available. So after scraping off the old gasket I removed the rust on the cast iron and steel plate, wiped with alcohol, applied red permatex, hand tightened, waited 1 hour, tightened all the bolts evenly. Waited 2 days, even called 24 hours hard. At the moment the boiler has been running for more than a week without any signs

Cons

The product does what it should. The only criticism is that the lid is broken. It's probably my fault for being dirty and replacing the white plastic cap with the bottle without wiping down the steps. Since the steps were coated with silicone and I screwed the lid on face down, the lid stuck to the metal. The next time I tried to remove the plastic cap it broke from being so tight on the bottle. I guess he did what he was supposed to do, but I was upset because now I had no eyelids. I had to…

ABS Bleed works best with sealant

I purchased this specifically to bleed the ABS block on my 2005 Chevrolet Silverado of which 99-05 models are generally considered the same (or GMC Sierra). I have rusted brake lines from the master cylinder to the ABS block. After fixing the lines, I bled the brakes until my face turned blue, to no avail. After googling and finding out that the ab block needed pumping, I went straight to smile.amazon.com to find an affordable tool that would get the job done and save money and time by not…

except for a hole in it. I fixed two pairs of shoes with a large quarter-sized hole that I would have thrown away, so $60 saved is $7 shoes. I had to use a bike liner to bridge the gap. As long as they hold out. I have a lot of free for automotive use. This is the best brand for making pads. You just have to follow the recommendations. This is an unpleasant thing, so you can wear gloves and even a mask. I didn't do it but I was very careful with it and the chemical smell is disgusting. There…
