Review on π΄ Permatex 81160 High-Temp Red RTV Silicone Gasket: Reliable 3 oz Solution by Jay Matlock

2000 Toyota Tundra SR5 I used to have a couple of classic cars and this was the stuff I was supposed to be using. RTV Red. I used it to secure the water pump gasket to the water pump because it failed, when the thing on the gasket failed it just seeped through the steel gasket. So I secured the steel part of the gasket to prevent it from failing again. I have extra sanity and don't expect it to leak much more than an OEM gasket. Tip: a thin red layer or it will be squeezed out and enter the water pump, which will not help the coolant to have such a float in the coolant. The time will show.
